It's never too young to start. I started when I was about 12 or 13 can't really remember. My parents were a bit jittery coz they did not want me to handle knives, paints and solvents when I was that age.

All of you are so young. I feel... OLD.

When I was about 12 i cut myself with the penknife accidentalyl while building a tamiya 1/10 buggy. It was just a small cut and I wiped the blood on my shirt every few seconds. Soon my whole shirt was red and I went to the kitchen to get a drink. My mother was screaming.

The wonders of slow-clotting blood.

It is never too young to start..
In fact the younger you start, the more experience you will gain slowly and more kits over the years!

Hey,
Count me in for your gathering!
By the way, remove because of poor attendance, bad attitude and poor results...

Age is not a problem to start

I received my first kit at the age of 6, I regreted I didn't start..
Until I found the kit now... ( I'm 15 now ) and start doing it as my side project.

I'm currently studying at Loyang Sec 3rd year.

Geez.. getting off topic.. loLz.

And oh yeah... I'm a Skyline Lover too

I bought my first kits in Pri 6. Back then, very cheap, only $2 for an Airfix helicopter and tank each. Went home and kenna caned by mother because she thought it's a waste of money. Still remember I've asked my big brother for help in applying the decals. No painting, just glue everything and decals. Still very fun. Then Sec school days were better as Hasegawa and Matchbox appeared locally and below $10, can get pretty lot of kits. Army days were productive with more money and time. But U days have to stop because of no money and also looking for gf :-) Unfortunately, after all these years, my skills are still crap! So your theory does not apply to me. I think it's my oily fingers :-(

Wear gloves. The surgical kind.

I am very interested in the carbon-fibre decals for the Jag XJR-9LM. I'll be in touch. Still deciding which kit to buy.
