I think that each time you start the procedure to program in a key fob, it erases all the stored key fobs. Because when I got my new key fob and programed it in, the key fob for the morano that I tryed a couple weeks earlier didn't work any more. You can program in a maximum of 4 different key fobs but I think they all have to be put in at the same time by pressing the lock button on the drivers lock/unlock switch and pressing a button on the key fob that you want to program in after you have already programed in the first. Then you can program in another (up to 4 total) by pressing the lock button again and then pressing a button on the other key fob. I could be wrong on all of this but I will find out when I recieve the next key fob that I am getting from ebay. I'll let you know.

http://www.courtesyparts.com/instruct/remote.html is a web site where you can print the directions off. You can also buy a key fob from them for like 77 buck (for the xterra I think but they are all the same) but ebay is a lot cheaper. One thing I would like to add to those instructions is insert the key slow, don't rush or it won't work. It sounds like you don't have much time to insert the key into the ignition 6 times when all they give you is 10 seconds but it is.

Re: Frontier Keyless Entry
The 02-05 all use the same type of 3 button remote. Some models do not have the lights or horn signals as indicated above, but all program the remotes once you complete the procedure. Nissan says the 05 SE doesn't have keyless entry, but I've programmed a remote easily. It's no surprised that dealerships lie.
