Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?

Lots of F360's, Z 06's, afew Murcielagos, Gallardos, 996 Turbos and A LOT of 996 Carreras. M3's, M5's and M6's is everyday sightings. Well maybe not M6's, but I see some from time to time. There's plenty of AMG's where my girlfriend lives in the wealthier parts downtown, even some Kleemanns and alike. And in her building's garage theres at least 6-8 996's, some Boxters and this really old and really cool white Lotus.

The rarest? Gotta be the Shelby Cobra on my way to school.

Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?

Alright, so my family went on a Royal Caribbean cruise over Christmas and whilst I was in Ft. Lauderdale (the cruise left form Port Everglades) so I sat on the hotel balcony and wacthed nice car after nice car pass by (and took pictures! Lucky you!). And I did that even when I could have been watching this tv:

But on with the cars:

In the hotle parking lot

I skeeted myself when I saw this Lambo.

Along with Ferrari 355/F430 Spyder's
Many Bentley Continental GT's/Flying Spur's
Many older Rolls-Royce convertables and sedans

And a little story aboot the Gallardo. The first night I was at the hotel, I was sitting up on the balcony and I hear this exhaust note and think "Oh man... freakin ricers". But of course I looked and lo and behold its this little beauty. A green Lamborghini Gallardo SE. It came screaming up the road, made an illegal u-turn right below me, and went screaming back. And 2 days later I'm at Port Everglades and "WTF!!! THATS THE CAR!".

That Lambo is hideous, as are the rims on the Phantom. Some people have no taste...

sorry for the late response, I must have missed it lol I only posted a couple minuites before you.

now to anwser your question..

it was at a Canadian Embassy in... I think it was Germany but i'll have to dubble check
you could hear it for miles, My Dad saw it, as well as my brother

Unfortunatly I do not have pics since I saw it driving away as soon as we got off of the tour bus, I did snap a picture but later on the camera broke along with the whole film. Sparing two film strips I don't have most of the good cars but just the usual Ferraris and Porsches.. but I don't think you wanna see those

oh and to awnser your next question, yes I know what a TVR speed 12 is.

P.S - It was in Switzerland pulling out of the Canadian Embassy next to an opera house

if you do know what the TVR Speed 12 is, then you'd also know that the car never went into production and that deposits were returned to customers and the project was effectively cancelled. They made two cars for testing. One of these test cars' running gear was rebodied after wards and sold as "The Only Road Legal TVR Speed 12". The other car, as far as I know is the one that is still used as a "test" car and is usually seen with a racing body. This is ignoring the race cars as these aren't available to the public nor are they road legal. The two road legal cars are the only ones ever seen by any living person, both are in the UK with UK registration.

I'd love to play you the interview with the then chairman of TVR when he confirmed this to me but unfortunately, the tape recorder that I used suddenly self combusted and the tape burnt up inside of it.

Of course, I could be wrong but until you prove otherwise, considering what is known about the car, your claim that you saw one in Switzerland is highly unlikely.

interesting.. but you don't have to be an idiot about it

I just trying to think what other car it could be closest looking to the speed 12 (just the rear)

It could of not even been a TVR, do you think it could of been the chimaera? just lowered

I'll never figure it out but thanks for telling me about the speed 12, I never knew that

The rarest? Probably a Ferrari 360 Spyder. You gotta remember this was a sighting near a little hick town, though.

Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?

My best friend just got a 2007 BMW M6 Convertible so the M's are not really rare to me. AMG's neither, i had a CLK55, and now i have an E55. The rarest would probably be Tommy Hilfiger's Ferrari Enzo, back when i lived in CT. And a Bugatti Veyron 16.4, also pack when i lived in CT leaving an Exotic Auto Show. Ferrari's are seen everyday back where i used to live.

Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?

This car isnt rare by any means, E36 M3's are boy racer's darlings. But I finally took some pics of my buddy's 1995 BMW M3 coupe which he is or was going to (he changes his mind very often, somtimes its "Im going to make my E36 into a Lightweight, then somtimes its "Im going to part out the car and buy an E46 M3" and so on) turn it into the E36 Lightweight, which is basically the same thing for the E36 M3 as the M3 CSL was to the E46 M3, a more hardcore track-ready version of the production car. So hes gutted it and lowered it an inch or so and, if given a set of racing tires and a racing seat, would easily look at home on a track.

But it doesnt really matter what hes going to do with it because hes going to buy an Indianapolis Red M6 Coupe with black interior within a year. On his 22nd birthday this year hes going to inherit a very large sum of money so that makes me happy because M6's are neat.

EDIT: That would be my Jeep in the second pic, its just about the awesomest car of all time FYI.
