Where did everyone get their swap

i am looking at different sites and was wondering where everyone got their swap from. Did you get from website or did you find a donor car yourself?
another thing, how many of you did the swap yourself? if so, how difficult was your swap?

how much experience did you have before you did the swap? what was the biggest/hardest thing you did before the swap and how does it compare to the swap?

$3500 for the swap, that was engine, tranny, ecu, axles, mounts, wiring, shift linkage, AEM CAI, DC 4-1 header, ACT 6 puck, Integra brakes.... bunch of other shit I replaced.

Hardest thing i had done before hand.......?

HEH...I had my swap done by Erick's Racing...
Be careful if you're doing your research online...there's a lot of people out there claiming to be honda specalists when they really don't know what's up!! Look for a shop around town...ask friends
Don't really know if there's a JG around where u live but they are pretty reliable! What kinda motor r u lookin for anyway???

Well..long story..but here goes:

Back in the day there was a site called www.purehonda.com (now it's a classified site for hondas - old members get free advertisement on there). It was a Mecca for Honda enthusiasts.
IT was amazing! There were so many knowledgeable members there..it's where I learned all that I know from!! We were even hacked once - but we came back! Then...it became too popular. Too many people were postwhoring..too many people posted unneccessary things. The OffTopic forum was closed to try to clear up the bandwidth...but it didn't work. The site was using money - rather than making any. Then the owner Hayden James sold the site to a man named Bob Kuhn. A great guy Bob Kuhn..anyways...the site was having too many problems. It couldn't stay running. We tried to make it a pay site (a simple $25 fee for a whole year with discounts at sites like modacar.com) but not enough people signed up for it.

Then..we came here to AutomotiveForums...

That's PH for ya!

WARNING: THIS SITE CONTAINS 100% PUREHONDA JUICE! IT MAY AFFECT YOUR SLEEP PATTERNS

^that graced the purehonda front page
