FS Porsche 924 in Chicago $500 obo

This car is being sold as a project car/parts car because of its cosmetic condition. The engine runs excellent and the car drives VERY well as the suspension and tires are in good shape. The 2nd gear syncro may need attention soon. The engine also has a slow idle oil leak coming from a line I haven't gotten around to fixing since the cold weather doesn't permit me to work on it anymore.

Cosmetically it has all the usual flaws older porsches carry. The dash is cracking, the seats are tearing on the seams and the paint is faded. This car was backed into in a parking garage about 4 years ago on the passenger side so the fender/door/quarter panel has scrapes on it, however the quarter panel is an easy fix. The door panel and fender I would recommend replacing because they are inexpensive parts and the car will eventually need a repaint.

All the glass is good, I repaired all the weather seals so it doesn't leak, it has been garaged for the time I have owned it. I have replaced the headlight motor and various electrical components. I have done the full tuneup (rotor/cap/wires/plugs/oil exc.) Brakes are good. Has black alloy 4-lug rims and Firestone tires.

Local pickup recommended, I can deliver within 30 miles of Chicago. The car should get the oil leak fixed before leaving the state. A local shop could fix it pretty quick. Asking $500 obo!
