When mine is going off really quiet like, that means the car battery is dead. Can you start your car?

Re: Help Alam Is F$$cked

You should PM ponchonutty. He's the alarm expert here and has helped me out a lot. If you wanted your alarm to stop, look for the valet switch since it's aftermarket. If you can't find it then try pulling out the fuses so that your car would be "normal." My sister just recently lost her keys with the remote to her alarm which has the ignition kill feature and after discussing it with ponchonutty, I pulled out the fuses and her car started working again. But yeah, ponchonutty should know what to do...good luck.

He PM'd me. I told him to have all the grounds checked for the alarm. The most common is the ground comes undone so the alarm "searches" for a grounding point. Since the one lead of the siren is grounded out, it goes through that but causes the alarm to faintly go off.

I had a problem like this, except my alarm wouldnt go off.. until this. Pop open your trunk, go the the fuse box, unplug the Ignition fuse (hence where you car alarm is set at) and the plug it back in and tell me if it's fixed. plugging it back in should reset the settings and go back to normal.

Yep, I replied to you???? Anyhoo, there's not too much I can do with that info. Do you know what it said on the remotes?

Re: Help Alam Is F$$cked

Hmm.....I never got the last reply then. That's kinda weird..... Anyways, no, there wasn't anything written on the remote that I can remember. That's so weird...is it like a no-name generic brand alarm or something? Would an alarm place be able to figure something out with that information?
