Re: del sol question?
I've never seen that but I'd imagine it's not simple. You'd probably need to extend the harness, make a trim ring, make supports for the unit itself and block off the opening in the air duct. I think that would look dumb anyway. You have any pics of this?

Re: del sol question?
Orrrr you could just put it, you know, where it belongs, in the radio section?
It's a PITA fitting things in the del Sol dash.. it's a very shallow dash, compared to other dashes, and you would have to remove all your air ducting to fit a radio there. Just put it in the radio spot. |

Re: del sol question?
I've never had a problem with a flipout in the stock radio location. It can be a bit of a pain cause you have to pull the shifter back into 2nd or 4th or R, but I usually leave my car in 2 when it's parked uphill or flat, and R when it's parked downhill anyways. If you are unfortunate enough to have an auto, it should be out of the way by D4. And once it flips up, you have nothing to worry about.

Re: del sol question?
Get a flip out that fits then. You'll miss the vents.

Re: del sol question?
i have a flip out screen, what i did was made little spacers for the screws that mount the unit... it pulled out the unit and has enough clearance so that the screen will flip a lil past vertical level.
