Angry fx35 navigation help .... while driving

I've got a 2003 FX35 with a technology package so I've already got the nav and dvd installed. However, the thing I HATE about it is that it has a safety feature that prevents me from working with the navigation system while the car is in motion (i.e. while driving). For example, it only lets me set the destination or use certain menus when the car is completely stopped.

I've been searching the Internet for any information I can find about how to disable that so that I can use the full functionality of the nav system while I'm driving (or the passenger can use while someone is driving). Would you know anything about this? I'm assuming there must be a sensor somewhere that tells it the car is moving - if I could remove that sensor or do something else to allow me to use it that would be ideal.

One last thing. I've got a manufacturer dvd system installed in the back seat too. Is there any way to allow that video feed to show up on the nav screen in the front if I wanted it too?

Any help is appreciated. Even a tip on where else to look.
