Re: 1/16th 57 chevy turbo promod
Just one question; what are you using for reference?? Have you access to a 1:1 car?
Oh and-INSANITY! Spectacular design and work.

Re: 1/16th 57 chevy turbo promod
I'm not especially a drag fan but I do like good models and that is superb. Do you work from a prototype plan /blueprint?
Just saw post above - question still applies - how do you translate internet info into the model detail. I guess there are standards and practices for cage sizes fixings etc, fuel cells and so on? I'd love to try it but I think I'd end up with the model equivalent of the "bodged repair" that we've all seen' Brilliant work I'll be following this thread. Re: 1/16th 57 chevy turbo promod
Thank you, I just work from pictures and do some measuring and eye-ball engineering. i would like to figure out how to scale down some chassis plans and print them out to work off of for the next build.

Slowhonda, you are a complete mad scientist. This has got to be one of the most amazing projects I have ever seen. I love the subject matter also. I cant wait for more updates and seeing future projects from you. Keep up the awesome work.

I take the 1:1 part size and scale it down to 1/16th scale size. i also work off the body and just eyeball it, some times the part could look to big so i make something a tad smaller till it looks right to me. |

Thank you sir, I might do a 1/16th or 1/12th Front or rear engine dragster next and do the chassis out of brass. |
