1985 Fleetwood Brake Lines
I have a leak in my break system in my 1985 Fleetwod Brougham with the 4.1 engine. it is leaking on the drivers side right before the wheel well starts. i know that the line is attached to the frame and i have the service manual to see about replacing it, but i trust you guys on here more than some book. i just want some general info on how hard/easy it is to change the leaking line and where it might be coming from. i can post pics if needed. so any info, tips, etc would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

Re: 1985 Fleetwood Brake Lines
You need to cut into and join the line where it is not rusted somewhere along the frame, you can buy made up lines in varying lengths from any parts store, the are flared unions and fittings of course, A bleed is then necessary.

Re: 1985 Fleetwood Brake Lines
well im assuming (and hoping) that its on the rubber part of the line....because if its on the metal part im going to just do the whole line. i know if its rusted through on one part its rusted on other parts...better safe then sorry
