You probably won't be able to take a Titan. Their 0-60 is a bit under 7 secs(6.7 or 6.9, can't remember). A 2.5L Sentra, even the SE-R, probably can't touch that in stock form.

My Titan has dusted the Ford F350 crew cab, Chevy Silverado king cab and the FS Dodge truck (not the 500+hp dodge truck) which is about the only one I wont play with. Best way to find out if your car is faster is to try one... ;-) I live in Columbus Ohio and would be more than happy to answer your question...

Holy cow Z! I live in CMH too!

Anyways i think the time for the titans were closer to 7.2 for the @ dor version and 7.5 for the crew cab.

Re: 1/4 and 0-60 times

The TITAN for some reason has lost it's quality rating from JD POWER after 2004. I bought a Hemi after I watched my co-worker take his Tian to the dealership a half dozen times in the first couple monthys of ownership. His truck weighs a bitmore than me and I smoked him when we raced. He got off the line real well but around 70-80 he fell on his face. My hemi is a single cab and now it's all juiced up with a bunch of goodies and runs like a rocket, smoke and all!!

Yes, the titans do slow down tremendously after 60 -70 mph. but if you buy a titan for racing your just silly!

I've had my titan since august of 2004 and it has been very reliable.

yeah those hemis are built for speed i think. they have more hp but their rated to tow less. go figure. the titan really was built for hauling. I towed 8000 lbs cross country (ok just nevada to ohio) and it felt like nothing was attached.

My 2004 Titan crew cab 2x4 XE ran 15.15 and 15.16 at 92 mph at Hallsville dragstrip last year, 3/4 tank reg. gas. Volent air intake, magnaflow muffler. I raced a quad cab hemi, he ran 15.34 at 92 mph. His gas gague was on empty with premium gas. I raced my buddy's standard cab Hemi, and he ran 14.7 at 93 mph. He had air intake and dual exhaust, and was running the smaller tires and rims from his Durango. He ran 15.18 when he was totally stock.

If he wanted better acceleration from 70-80 then he needed to just drop it back down to 3rd gear and floor it the titans auto mode is a hell of alot slower than the auto shifter mode it allows you to redline it whitch is handy for racing becouse for all i could tell it was accelerating around the same from 60 to 100 with the auto shifter]

The titan does not slow down tremendously after 60 unless you have it in automatic mode there is a automatic shifter 4speed that lets you redline it threw all the gears we timed it under 7 seconds doing that (of course your going to see the fuel meter go from F to E really quickly through redlining 4 gears) I also was impressed with it from having to move 4200 pounds of Oak, 12 foot 6x4's easily 20 miles to the drop off.

So...now I know why my hubby bought a Titan after being FORD all these years! He liked the speed,I guess. Are they really as reliable as the old nissan hard bodies?

You could get a Silverado SS in AWD or 2WD.
I have driven the HEMI Dodge's and I was not very impressed. I even raced one off the line. He didn't have much on me. I lead him up to 60 mph. After I slowed down.. Do not need my license taken away for racing in the street

Re: 1/4 and 0-60 times

Car and Driver measured a solid 6.3-second 0-60 mph time, and that's probably repeatable just by throwing a brick at the accelerator pedal. The SS comes with the 6.0L high-output V-8 from the Escalade, rated at 345 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque
