Lightbulb A request for help, from an ignorant - a question on databases

First of all, I am completely new to this forum, so if this post is in the wrong subforum or breaching your rules in any way - I apoligize profusely.
Second, English is not my native language so, again, I apologize if this post is unclear or hard to understand.

For a project I'm working on, I'm attempting to find some quite abstract information on the Mercedez Benz (More specifically, the GLK350).

What I'm looking for is the weight of each individual subcomponent within the car itself. Ie. the weight of the drive axle, the weight of the drivetrain etc. etc.
I've spent countless hours attempting to find this information. My plan so far is to:

1) Find a list of all the components of the specific car which I'm to study
2) Search the web for information regarding this specific part. For instance, I've looked at a few websites that actually display weight. But if the store does not stock the item I'm looking for, I sadly don't get any information.

So, this is why I'm making this post. My experience with cars and their components etc. is close to nil. Do you have any pointers for me, with regards to finding this information? I've been searching for hours on end so far, and seem to be no closer to my goal.
Some kind of car part database with weights would of course be optimal, but - as far as my research has shown me - no such database is readily available to the public on the net.

Absolutely all help is really appreciated!

Agreed on not getting this info, case here ot to find replacement parts source and you will get the shipping weights, try and subtract the crating or packaging weight.
