2003 Grand Marquis wiper problem
I bought this car about 10 months ago. Only had 12,000 miles on it. Literally belonged to a little old lady who only drove it to church. Right away I had to replace tires (dry rotted), cruise control switches, and the radio. A few weeks later the wipers came on by themselves. After research I replaced the wiper motor. Autozone was my only choice at the time. Everything worked good for about 3 months, then the same thing happened again. Autozone replaced the wiper motor no charge so I changed it. Again, lasted about 3 months. But this time the light control module started clicking under the dash at the same time the wipers were wiping. I have ordered a Motorcraft motor but was wondering if the LCM could be causing this problem. I think they are connected in a way because when you turn on the wiper, a few seconds later the lights will come on. Has anyone had this same problem and should I replace the LCM? Kinda pricey so I sure don't want to.

Re: 2003 Grand Marquis wiper problem
I am having issues with both wipers and lights too - mine is a 94 and i had reasoned it might be in the switches in the steering column there as both are there on the left arm but yours is so much newer - did you get your problem resolved?
