Duplicolor has more Matalic Paints, PlastiKote is more of a base color. There both Good paint brands

I favor Dupli Color for one single reason...Because I have never used PlastiKote. But If you use Dupli Color the right way your paint will end up perfect. The Civic in my Signature was painted with Dupli Color paitns. Just remember to let the paint dry well before clear coating since some bad things will happen But then again thats with all paints.

I use Plasti-kote primers and they are excellent. Very smooth and sandable. I have only used duplicolor enamels through my airbrush with excellent results.

i dont like duplicolor

Plasti Kote is awesome paint, it is a bit costly but is well worth it, use a base coat of silver, then any of their color, plus clear coat

one tip, once you sprat the main color of the car, immeaditly spray a coat of clear coat, like once you set down the paint can, then pick up the clear coat, you will thank me later.

Both plasticote and duplicolor are very good paints and will give you good results. It's a minor point, but I do like the spray nozzles on duplicolor better. I think they give better control and coverage.
