Rover 416SLi Airbag Warning Light
One day a couple of weeks ago the Airbag Warning Light in our Rover 416SLi started blinking, but the mechanic at a local workshop was unable to access the airbag with the analyser, whatever it was he did do, the light had stopped blinking by the next morning. Then yesterday it started blinking again. On both occasions the car had been parked several hours in the open in very hot sun. After being parked in the shade for a few hours yesterday, the light stopped blinking. Could the sun shining directly through the windscreen and the consequent heat build up within the car cause the warning light to start flashing when the ignition is started.
