I was wondering how do you put carbon fiber decals over uneven surfaces- like say the hood of a 350Z...and i already have looked in the FAQ and did a search and couldnt find anything so...

is the decal the water kind or the one with the sticky side i think its called vinal like the decals for the 1:1 cars i dunno what you guys use. but i the one i have can shrink when you apply heat so what i do is i use a hair dryer to shrink it so it goes on the uneven surfaces.

for any kind of decal, if you start by laying it down in the midle first and working the decal towards the edges, you can press it into corners and up against the shaps of the hood, you may need to use an exacto knife and make small incisions into the decal to make it form to the hood if it doesnt go on properly.

There have been several recent threads about CF that you might check out.
But my recomandation for putting a water slide on an irregular surface is to use Microsol setting solution. Its explained in at least two of the other threads.
Good luck
