Fuel filter

Question: where is the fuel filter located on the 2010 camaro? I have not found one yet. Also can a inline fuel filter be added to the car? Thank you.

Re: Fuel filter

The filter is on the fuel pump itself.

Re: Fuel filter

As for the second queston, a filter can be added in-line but will require custom adaptation.

HINT: Resist the temptation to install a filter in the return line to the tank. While this may seem easier and safer due to the lower pressure, once it begins to collect debris and presents a restriction, the effect will be to raise fuel rail pressure and alter the fuel delivery, potentially creating mystery error codes and short/long fuel trim adaptive cell number that are off the charts.
