Smile Classic but street legal

Somebody help i'm just starting trying to upgrade my 87 cutlass. I have a 350 Vortec 5.7 that came out of my 98 Tahoe that I'm getting ready to install. What problems will i run into, or will it be a pretty easy swap. Also, i purchased a LT 4 hot cam kit for 800 i want to install, and super 10 flowmasters whats ur thought on that??????? You help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Classic but street legal

The Vortec 5700 is an OBDII engine, meaning that in order to keep it street legal, you are swapping in the complete OBDII PCM and package. To run that cam, you will need a custom tune for the PCM.
