Opinions??? 2001 Mazda MPV

Son is looking at a second car for his wife and asked me about Mazdas....I know didly squat about them as whether they are good or bad. All cars have issues fromt time to time but, how would you feel about a 2001 MPV, 113K, for around 2700 bucks. Deal? Or run away?? Looks great, runs well.
