Infiniti Offers XM Satellite Radio On New Q45, G35, I35 And M45 Models

WASHINGTON, July 9 -- XM Satellite Radio Inc.
(Nasdaq: XMSR), the nation's #1 satellite radio service, today announced that
Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan North America, Inc., is the first
import brand to offer new car buyers XM as a factory option on the entire
vehicle line up. XM has been available on the 2003 Infiniti FX 45 crossover
vehicle. Beginning this month, the Q45 luxury sedan, the M45 performance
sedan, the G35 sport sedan, G35 sport coupe and I35 performance luxury sedan
will add the satellite radio feature. In addition to a factory option,
Infiniti is equipping all models with pre-wiring that will enable Infiniti
retailers to install satellite radio receivers at a customer request while
maintaining Infiniti's high quality standards.

"As we march to one million subscribers this year, we are excited to add
Infiniti owners to the growing ranks of satisfied and passionate XM
customers," said Dan Murphy, XM's Senior Vice President of Retail Marketing
and OEM Distribution. "Offering XM's superior sound quality and service to its
customers will greatly enhance Infiniti's already exemplary brand loyalty."

Factors that could cause actual results to differ materially from those in
the forward-looking statements in this press release include demand for the
company's service, the company's dependence on third party vendors, its
potential need for additional financing, as well as other risks described in
XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc.'s Form 10-K filed with the Securities and
Exchange Commission on 3-31-2003. Copies of the filing are available upon
request from XM Radio's Investor Relations Department.
