1/16 `81 Turbo Trans Am with Year One`s
You guys may have seen it posted in other forums. It`s been a while since I posted here, but I am back.
The wheels I drew out on the computer and had 3 printed. I then cast them and sent them off to chrome. The lights are the actual lights from 1987 when the kit was released! All of them worked. The kit came sealed, and still had the price tag from Allied Hobbies on it. |

Now that's really impressive. And with the passing of Burt Reynolds, the Bandit, it's certainly timely to post it. Too bad it's not in gloss black.

I've always enjoyed seeing your big scale models, nice to see another one. Workmanship at a whole new level. The big treat is scrolling down to see the engine compartment. This is one beautiful model, especially like the working headlights.

Very nicely done, a real beauty!
But what happened to the front emblem, is some part of the silver outlining missing?

What a stunner! The wheels are beautiful - very fitting and look very period!
Great paint too - excellent build. PS: Glad to see you back man.

Thanks! Glad to be back. I have been lurking, but not posting much. Hopefully I can be more active in the future. I have a 1/12 `73 Trans Am I am working now that I can hopefully share soon. |
