Re: 1994 Pontiac Transport Door Handle problems

Hi there,
The window crank is held by a clip that is sort of shaped like an Omega. It is between the crank handle and the door panel. If you pry on the handle and push the panel in with a screw driver, you can just see the pin. It is tucked in close to the handle.
You can buy a tool at a car part store. It is like a small pry bar. You simply push the clip of the window crank shaft.
What I did was get a hook ( I use a dentist pick that I bent into a small hook), hook the top of the clip and pull.
If you are having exterior door handle problems (broken, dislocated) I suggest you buy the tool. I had to take my door panel off several times a year and I finally bought the tool ($8.00 Cad) and wish I had done it earlier!
Good luck,
Phil.
