Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
Hi,
i want to show you the current level of the capri. The big parts are done.It looks like a capri, most parts. The parts from the roof to the frontwindows needs some corections, also the doors are not in the right shape. Frontspoiler and the cover of the exhaust must be done, but first i will be round down the edges of the body. Thanks for watching! Christian |

Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
Hi,
some new progress to show The body is nearly finished. So i deceided to put the first primer on it. Now i can see all the little holes and i can see the difference between left and right side. The rearspoiler and the bodyparts between the doors must be made, but the mainpart is done. Comments are welcome! Christian |

The curves and the small radius need more detailwork from me. The interior will be made with full detail. Also the engine and gearbox will be made by me,thats my plan. Christian |

Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
Hey dudes!
Today i saw an big mistake when i look at the capri. The wheelhouses are crap. I made them way to small. You can see it marked with a pencil. This is my second problem. This part should look like the next pic. The capri is missing a mesh. How can i make this mesh? With pe parts? But how can i make them? Or where can i buy them in the right size? Kind Regards Christian |

Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
having in mind the scale I think that vertical plastic card sheets should do the work for the grille.
Really impressive work done, can't believe you intend to build engine and all details strating from... nothing !! |

Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
Have to say really impressive work. I would all so go for plastic sheet for the grille. But keep up the good work.

Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
The deer has his horn right now!
Tommorow i will work a bit on the right shape of the wing, because its a bit to round at some points. Thats all for now. Christian P.S: The mesh will be made with a mill at work. Its the best way i think. |
