If you can take of the electronic limit on the top speed (155mph), you'll really get that baby up there!! Doesn't it have a near 50/50 weight distribution, if I remember correctly, That, with RWD, makes for some damn good handling and concering. Great Idea man, I definatly like this idea too. Of course, if he can't afford it, the M3 and M5 are good too. 5.2 seconds for 0-100 km (0-62) and 343 hp (on the german version at least, isn't too bad either
if he can only afford a 525i then he can't afford a Z8....there was one in the bmw dealship i went to 2 weeks ago...it was some kind of special edition that came with stock 20" rims....with a price tag of $140K...plus a regular Z8 is expensive as crap

If you really want a honda, and RWD, why not an S2K or a used NSX even?

I guess so, or something like that. But I still wouldn't dump a BMW for a project civic or integra. If he really wants a RWD and a honda, the NSX was a good idea. Though the S2000 would work, and he could mess with that. Still, if he has his heart set on another car since his 525i is AT, I still think he should get a 99+ M3

I worked for BMW for 2.5yrs & drove pretty much every model besides a Z8, however I was given a ride That was the best job I ever had. Patrick Racing M3's to $175,000 7 series with all types of crap(lap top, fax, tv, dvd, etc . . . Even got to drive the GREAT Walter Payton's BMW's - he had an 850, 740, & (3) M3's for the family + more vehicles including a lambo(never drove that one but sat in it)

all of them are right. It wouldn't be smart to waste a BMW for a Honda, but hell honda are fun to drive. So u should do whatever u want man. Personally i think u should trade it for an S2000.

All right guys, First off thanx a lot for all of the reccomendations. and to clear something up. I did not buy it, it was given to me and its automatic. I looked at an M3 and the dealer said that because my car was driven off the lot and whatever the most i can get for it is like....$52,650 or something like that. Thats enough for a base M3 but I cant get any options on it or shit like that. Z8's cost over 100 grand, so that's not an option. Z4 would be nice but I want something with more than 2 seats. I would like to stay bimmer but there's so much more you can do to other cars. I like the S2000 idea, that could really work. the SC400 was a nice idea but that has jack shit for backseat room. M5's will cost me money out of my pocket...$13,500 if I calculate correctly. I like the M3 idea a lot. if any of yall know where I can find an E46 model with all options (Leather, In-Dash CD Changer, Bose Sound, etc..) please do tell me. I have researched and found a GReddy, RevHard, and TurboXS turbo kits and a Jackson Racing, and Vortech Supercharge kit for a 99-03 M3 E46. It's looking like I will be getting an M3 or an S2000. I'm still open to other suggestions, and if you all find an M3 or an S2000around for sale then please show me. Again THANX ALOT

OKay, here's my sugesttion. Look for the 99, maybe 2000 M3's. They should be a little cheaper, due to age, than a 2003, etc. Besides trading your 525i to a dealer and trying to get a car, you could also either trade it to a dealer for $$ or sell it private party, and take the 52 grand and buy a private party M3. I know that in the area I live you could find a nice one for that price. Where are you at? I look and see if I can find anything for you. You'll have about 52 grand if you sell the 525i, correct?

If you got an S2000, and turbocharged it, you'd be making about as much hp as a stock M3. If you turbocharged an M3 you'd be making more than 450hp!
