Dohc Zc Vtec

i was just wondering if this is possible, to lets say swap a vtec head onto a ZC block? anyone know?

The ZCG and B16A1 (found in 90-91 Civic Si-R and 90-91 CRX Si-R) has a VTEC head so my "guess" is that a head swap should be possible ...

Except the ZCG is based on a D series block, and the B16a uses a B series block. So no the swap is not possible.

You might be able to with a little machine work around the oil galleries and water galleries make a D series SOHC VTEC head fit on a ZC, but I dont know the point would be. The ZC has more hp.

i just figured that having the ZC with vtec would be cool, but i guess it'd be hella expensive. oh well thanks guys for the replies and explanations.
