1jz into cel/supra

hello, iam doing a 1jz into an older celica supra and someone told me to use the oilpan from a cressida becuase it is a front sump pan the jdm motor i got must be out of a supra or something becuase it has a center sump any info would be great and save me from having to make a custom pan. thanks.

Damn your puttin a 1jz in a celica supra thats tight my big bro is puttin a
1jz in his 1990 supra that engine is the best but the best way to make the 1jz strong ass hell is to use the head of the 1jz and to use the block of the 2jz that will be some huge horsepower

ugh, if yu dun use the block, how the fu*k will it still be a 1JZ. The heads of a 1JZ, 2JZ, 3JZ are vertually the same, its the block that makes the diffrance,the block and its components such as the crank make for its dispacment. The diffrance between the heads are very very small, the valves on a 2JZ are a little larger for the added displacment it has. but thats it. the displacments are in half liters between the 3 inline sixes.
