Help I have no heat in my stock 87 Cressida
No Heat???????????
My blower works but there is no heat. I have changed the thermostat and made sure that I replaced the radiator and cooling system but I am still having difficulty. Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue? Please hit me back. Thanks. :smoka: |

No Heat
Do you have Automatic air conditioning......
Where you set the temp for say 70° and if it's winter time the car will get warm...but if it's summertime the car will get cool????? If this is what you have the problem is probably a sensor that's mounted just behind the face of the dash board near the radio. It has a vacuum line on it which sucks ambient air from inside the car, measures the temp. and adjusts the heat or AC accordingly. This vent could be just blocked up with dust or the air line is clogged or worse the sensor is bad replace for about $40. I went to toyota and they couldn't find a thing .......cost $383 They wanted to remove heater core from inside dash.....$1700. Bought their manual and did trouble shoot on no heat...Found prob in no time.. Hope this info is not to late Good Luck |
