Re: AF GT3 Challenge
Maybe all modifications allowed is taking it a little too far. What about something like this?
RWD N/A with no more than 380bhp, stock suspension, upgraded tires, all no drivetrain restrictions, and no weight reductions. AWD Turbo with no more than 450bhp, sport suspension parts, stock drivetrain, stock tires, weight reductions allowed. FWD N/A with no more than 240bhp, full suspension, stock tires, sport drivetrain, no weight. Mix it up a bit! |

Re: AF GT3 Challenge
what about just eliminating awd & 4wd.....take the advantage out of it.
just rwd & fwd. I want this race to be fast but with no disadvantages or advantages. plus w/ rwd alot more skill is involved from not going sidewards.......awd U can slide sidewards and come out straight with no loss of speed. we can make a hp limit. only thing, if we make a hp limit how can we regulate it? It doesn't say the hp next to your time... I'll do some research and get back to you guys later today at work..my house line is still out. |

Re: AF GT3 Challenge

Re: AF GT3 Challenge
Alright guys, Leguna Seca it is. Now, if we can all come to an agreement as far as the allowed specs, we'll see if we can't get this started on Monday or Tuesday.

Re: AF GT3 Challenge
I agree with bone stock car. Nothing you can't buy at the dealership.

Re: AF GT3 Challenge
Bone-Stock Car Race?
you guys saying you want to choose one single car, or you can personally choose your own car? any car we choose, laguna seca is a very challenging curcuit. I'm down for the bone stock. Its gonna be hard to regulate but we can only hope everyone will be honest. or we can steer clear of that whole regulation thing and pick a single car with full mods, or only certain cars with full mods. that way we don't have to worry about cheaters. anyways my internet is on at my house. so Im happy as hell now. BTW post what you guys think!!!!!! |

Re: AF GT3 Challenge
How about this:
Any car you can afford that is NOT a supercar with allowable mods of anything stage 1 or sport (i.e. Turbos, transmissions, suspension, lightweight kits etc.).

Re: AF GT3 Challenge
why dont we choose a specific car and specific mods... that would be more of an accurate challenge

Re: AF GT3 Challenge
I think it should be any car you want that can be bought no prototypes or concepts, and not the race cars. I think the Stage 1 only idea is good or compleatly stock. If we do stock there would be no tuning but all stage 1 parts you could tune your car.
We would probley be doing this more thatn once so next time we could do a single car and see who tunes the car the best and can drive. Edit: Or would these be set rules we use over again on different tracks?
