Everyones workspace...
I was wondering if anyone can upload some pictures of where they do their modeling, so maybe I can get a slight idea of how I should set mine up..

Re: Everyones workspace...
Well i dont have my camera right now, but ill try to describe. I basically have a big pine dining room table in my room, its shoved against the wall and kits line the back edge. Ive got a few sheets of newspaper taped down, Paint to the left tools to the right.

I just have a small table in my computer/car stuff room that's used just for models. The tools and spare parts are in the little drawers on the table, the paints in the big drawer under it. Kits are stashed on a shelf above my computers. TV and VVCR to the left Only thing I'd like to add sometime is a small paint booth. Here's a pic..

Here's Mine...usually not sooooo untidy, its untidy cos i'm working on a tough project. I used my Granny's spice rack (in the background), for holding my commonly used bottle paints (such as semi-gloss black, as it is commonly used in most car models).

My work area, the gold looking thing on the table is some sort of metal/plastic mix that I use to protect the table when I solder. Projects I´working on and some of the part boxes. The photo area. And the research area. And no it´s not as clean as it is in the pics. The pics was taken the day I moved in to this room. |

Re: Re: Everyones workspace...
CRAZY! At the moment, I have no workspace, maybe once in awhile
I'll put down some newspaper on a coffeetable and do a little bit of work, but I usually do most of my modeling at my cousins. So I keep my paints and equipment in an XO box.. (wine box) |
