head work
im planning to get my heads worked on port and polished cams springs and retainers and ferra over sized valves my question is could i keep the stock setup on fuel control or is it time to upgrade to stand alone when my heads are finished

forged bottom end straight through exaust stock turbo stock boost but about to turn it up just trying to get my heads together

well i am planning to upgrade the turbo be that will be the last step im going to run the stock one as lang as i can and get everything ready for a good boosting turbo but i want to run about 15 on the stock one to make sure my engine build will hold up an thanks for the info oh yea you know im talking about a z31 right

They make a Nistune board for the Z31.

ditch the stock t3 dude... that thing is putting a MAJOR restriction on your power production.
also, forged bottom end was prettymuch a waste of money unless you're planning on running over 500whp stock fuel is for suckers, especially on the z31... those 260cc peashooters aren't good for any kind of power production. now to answer your question... broke is correct, there is a nistune board that you can use.. which is probably the best option for most people these days without converting to a full out standalone setup. check out z31performance.com for details on it, i can't remember the link to the actual site at the moment. or just google it, that will give you the same result i'm guessing. moral of the story? ditch the stock turbo.
