What if a car has been issued a certificate of destruction?

i have a chevy that has been issued a certificate of destruction and the only damage done 2 it iz that the back right door has been hit and that door won't open. other that that everything works perfectly i've even had a mechanic check everything and he says everything works fine what can i do to get the car re-registered and get a title? I NEED HELP

First thing I would do is contact your state DMV ( or local branch) and explain your situation and see what they say.
