Point one- the Evo VIII is AWD- hence there is no way in hell it could do any drifting

Point 2- these cars can can in no way be compared one is an N/A V6 Supercar the other is a WRC Speical I4 Turbo

yeah, this is an odd comparo. they belong on entirely different kinds of race tracks. you're talkin about a road course/oval track car versus off-road rugged terrain car. obviously one will better the other on each of these courses. i don't see the evo taking an auto-x track very well, nor do i see the nsx tackling anything but dry and ultra-smooth pavement. actually i hear the nsx is terrible in wet weather traction.

I am sorry but the Evo VIII would demolish the NSX

you need to be a bit more specific about this cuz mods can go wayyyy far. Heck you could bring a geo and make it compete with them if anything goes and money is no issue.

Impossible to tell, and pointless. If you have enough money, you don't need to care, and if you don't, you won't ever need to know. :P

"Point one- the Evo VIII is AWD- hence there is no way in hell it could do any drifting "

jimster, your tellin me that you've never seen evo's drift on dry smooth asphalt? awd's can drift and in sport compact car, the one reason why they love the WRX so much is becasue of the way it progressivly slides as you applie throttle. and they love doin all kinds of drifts with it. dave coleman also test drove bozz's evo 6 and that thing was drifting smoking all 4 tires in 3rd gear!!! so i dunno, the point about yoru sayin it hard to get it go sideways. well i got a friend who got a stock wrx and all you gotta do is turn the wheel hard left then right, the car will go sideways.

Jim, try and tell possum that you can't drift an AWD car, If he has the time he would probobly take you out and prove you wrong.

This is rather a silly comparison though.
The EVO VIII would most likely be faster 0-100ks, but thats about it.
At the end of the day its still a Mitsi Cedric with a big turbo and some very stiff suspensin.
The NSX on the other hand is a purpose built super car.

But he's Possum- not some silly n00b driver who talks about drifting and doesn't even bring the Silvia/Altezza into the equation And also good to see Possum finally going onto the WRC stage

Also the NSX doesn't even have a Turbo in the first place so intercoolers, wastegates and BOV's are no use whatsoever. And I myself haven't ever heard of a Turbo'd NSX it may have been done- but I doubt it.

Lower the compression on the Nsx and then run the turbo
