forenza ac compressor seized?

i take care of about 17 cars, two of them are 2005 forenzas. one of them almost dies when the ac is turned on, which to me seemed like the compressor was locked up badly, but i haven't encountered this symptom before. otherwise runs fine. any thoughts?

Try turning the compressor over by hand to see if it's seized. Otherwise, try cleaning the throttle body for possible carbon buildup.
