Talking Just More Info About F&f2

I think everyone should at least give this movie a chance, I have seen a lot of F&F2 bashing going on. It isnt going to be like the first one and be all about 1/4 mile drag racing. Nor is it going to be about imports and only imports. Its going to be filled with lots of action and destruction (hate to see any kind of car be destroyed let alone T boned or sandwiched). Just think about a 544hp, triple NX nitrous system equiped Skyline GT R34 in full drift through a busy intersection, or a Comptech supercharged, veilside S2000 (too bad it is hot pink) doing "Dukes of Hazard" type jumps, let alone a BARREL RACE (thats down around a barrel and back to the start) between cars like a Evolution VII, Mitsubishi Spyder (3rd gen), and 1970 orange Dodge Hemi Challenger (426 big block V8). Over 10 mil was spent on the cars for this movie, and there are all kinds, different hondas from Civics to NSX, Chevy Corvette ZO6, Dodge Viper srt-10 (new), Saleen Mustang, 1967 Yenko Camaro (427 big block V8), Dodge Ram 1500, Single Turbo 625 hp wide body Toyota Supra with nitrous (JZA80), Twin Turbo wide body Mazda RX 7 (FD35), Ferrari 360 Modena Spyder, even a Mercedes SUV. I think this movie will suprise a lot of people, so just give it a chance.

A Nismo modified 2003 350Z will be in the movie. Got a question for you guys (or girls), would you rather have 3 bottles of nitrous sitting next to you in a skyline, or a good looking female (male) in the passenger seat?

if it's in a skyline?

i'll take the female anyday...

there's more than enough power in that car... the nitrous is a bit ridiculous...

it's almost sacrilege to put nitrous in a skyline...

Didnt hear about any new cars, but I thought I would make a post listing the actors and the parts they play. NO vin this time around, but Brian O'Conner returns as walker. Tyrese Gibson stars in the movie as Roman Pearce,Walker's boyhood pal and partner > drives the Mitsu Spyder. Amaury Nolasco plays Orange Julius > hispanic lover man and street racer, one person walker will race> drives the RX7. Jin (MC from the Ruff Ryders) is jimmy a street racer an top mechanic at Tej's garage. Ludacris is Tej a loud mouth enthusiastic street race organizer who is walkers buddy and automotive hook up >drives NSX and Ram pick up with matching paintjobs. Devon Aoki plays Suki a young, hot, female street racer > drives the S2000. Eva Mendes is Monica Clemente the beautiful but tough undercover federal agent that walker and Roman work with. Micheal Ealy stars as Slap Jack another miami street racer who walker will race> drives the Supra. All this and an interview with O'Connner can be seen in the April issue of Import Racer.

If you notice that some of the cars in f&f2 look familiar, you are right. The S2000 is the car Johnny Tran drove in the first one, repainted of course from black to pink. The RX-7, yup you got it Vin Diesel's car from the first movie, new body kit and paint of course. As for the Supra, replicas of the supra from the first movie recycled for the sequal. Three cars from the first movie get a new life in the second movie, its good to see that a car can be in a movie even if it isnt brand new. For info about what was really done to the Skyline, Spyder, NSX, S2000, RX7, Supra, or Evo, check out the may issue of Import Racer! or just ask me.

The draw bridge scene looks sweet, a car jumping the opening bridge with another car jumping over top of the 1st car. Too bad its so fake and could never happen, but thats what movies are all about now a days special effects.

There are lots of sites out there with info, pics, downloads, all kinds of stuff, you just have to look around. Now that the movie opens in less then a week(6/6), there will be even more sites poping up.
