Back to basics...(pix)

Alright, so I'm gettin my car down to primer because the paint was badly oxidized anyways, and my cousin is moving up here this summer and he can help me with a paint job. He has his own body shop in California. So yeah, gettin it down the primer, and dealing with it looking like crap for right now, so that I'll be closer to gettin that paint job. Also, now I can start on my next project...a taillight swap...we'll see how that goes, and I'll definetely get pics up as I'm doin it.

Thats the start of it...

Back end of it..

The antenna shave job.

Start of the doors...

looks good but i got a tip for you. you REALLY should not tape of the headlights, taillights etc. You should just remove them. They are simple to remove. Also, that way, you can primer behind them which is a good idea cuz most likely the body shop will remove them when they paint ur car.

Yeah I was thinkin about takin things off, but taping it seemed easier, so I just taped the hell out of everything. I need to do the passenger side doors and roof now, but other than that, its coming along decent. Not as great as I'd hoped, but then again, not as bad as it could be, so I cant complain I guess.
