My 97 Galant Is making a clonking noise on its rear axile..

My 97 galant is making a strange he car clonking noise on it's rear wheels causing the car to shake while doing less than 10 miles an hour ... anyone have any clue what's teh problem?

I know it sounds stupid, but have you checked the wheel nuts? Do you have front wheel drive or 4? If front drive, then there's not much which can cause a knocking. Bearing, loose wheel or bent hub?

thanks nick mann i've checked the wheel it's actually it was loose.....that damn garage screwd it loose...thanks for the advice
