Engine won't Start, Turns over and SPARKS

Hey I have a Problem with my 96' Chevy Lumina.
Recently the car stopped running on me and now I can't start it.
I just replaced all 3 Ignition coils and all 6 spark plugs and wires.
The Fuses all seem to be good and it gets spark.

Here is a link to a video of trying to start my engine...
Please help!

Welcome to the forum!

Have you pulled the spark plugs after trying to start the car to see how soaked they are with fuel? It seems like you're getting some backfires when it acts like it wants to start which would suggest it is getting fuel, although it may not be getting enough to reliably start. The backfires could also suggest that the timing is off.

Have you checked for pending or stored diagnostic codes?

Sounds like low fuel pressure or out of time. Try hosing a little starting fluid into the air box before cranking and see if it starts up. Just be careful, any intake backfires can light the fluid on fire.

Spark plugs are good for sure. And as for Diagnostics we already checked and solved them. Do you think there's something wrong with the fuel system?

I recall these engines had problems with broken camshafts. Yours may have broken part-way down the shaft.
Either that or the timing chain is worn and has skipped a tooth.

I'm not so much questioning if the spark plugs are good or not, but if they are wet with fuel. If wet with fuel, that says something is causing them to not fire which could be lack of spark, too much fuel, bad fuel, or an attempt to fire at the wrong time. If they are completely dry, then you probably don't have enough fuel.

It's a quick check to help guide your path.

I swear if you listen to the engine on the video, it only gets compression on 1 or 2 cylinders, The rest of the time it seems to spin freely.
Given the propensity for these engines to snap the cam, its worth a look before dumping any more money into it.

Simply whip off one valve cover and see if the valves are moving when cranking.
