hello,

i'm from the U.S., Connecticut, specifically. but i am new to automotive forums, so please bear with me. i am looking for information about renting a car in italy. i will be flying into venice in april, and since i have never been to europe, i am hoping to rent a car that is an entertaining drive, not available in the states, but also is capable of carrying three people and their cargo. thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I am trying to move to Germany within the next year. I am in the US Air Force currently in the South East USA and can't wait to get back to Europe.

Alfa Romeo 156. That's the car you are after, it's about the size of a 3 series, with the handling of a sports car, a lot of rental agency's have them as well.

A Peugeot 407 is another car you'll encounter among rental fleets that is good fun, same with the Renault Laguna.

Hi,
I live in North Rhine-Westphalia between Cologne and the border to the Netherlands. Not really round the corner I think...

It's interesting, the structure of this boards (unusually partitioning in countries) is cool and certainly Mustang is great.
