Trailer Brake Controller

My dad owns a 2003 F-250 Super Duty. He has a 18 foot car trailer that he tows regularly. His birthday is coming up and I want to get him a trailer brake controller. Do I need to get a specific Ford one? or any recommedations on what kind I should get?

Thanks.

Check your local parts places that have trailer stuff.
Or a place that sells trailers.
Do not get the old style that hooks into hyd. brake line.
Get one of the newer gravity activated ones.
Good luck. And good present for him and his trailer.
