1999 Escort SE Wagon strut interchangeability?
1999 Escort SE wagon, 2.0L SOHC, A/T, 97K miles.
I need to replace the rear struts on this car due to a broken coil spring. I want to replace them myself, and I've been checking around for prices. 3 box stores and a couple of online sources have rear strut assembly part numbers for the coupe and different ones for the sedan, but no mention of the wagon models. I'm assuming the rear struts for the wagon are the same as those for the sedan but I'd like an "Amen" before I order. I have the same question for the front struts as well; will the sedan front struts fit the wagon model? Can someone clarify for me, please? Also, any recommendations on a good, budget-friendly name brand strut would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
