Police muscle car kits
Hi,
for some time I've been stashing up on a small collection of police "muscle cars". To date I've got; Fujimi Lamborghini Polizia AMT Chevy Camaro Lindberg Dodge Charger Do you guys know of any other interesting kits in the segment? I'm not that interested in the older american Ford cars (Crown Victoria/Galaxy etc). Could be interested in odd kits though, like the Hasegawa Beetle. Any hints are most appreciated.

Re: Police muscle car kits
I would suggest a Countach police version, as seen in some cannonball movies, or the bmw m5 team polizei, but that's an e39.
Otherwise Italian carabinieri lotus evora, or also try search Dubai police super cars, they have plenty. Also the old sweet 911 from German polizei can be cool despite the ugly color. My personal best, loving classics, would be the truly operative black Ferrari from Commissario Spatafora... Now check google ..

Re: Police muscle car kits
This 1973 Mustang Mach 1 was used as a pursuit vehicle in the Tochigi Prefecture, just north of Tokyo.

Skyline and RX7? I think both Fujimi and Aoshima made them.

Re: Police muscle car kits
Thanks a lot guys. As I don't have the skills to make my own decals, it has to be an actual kit. Been looling for after market sheets flr the Dubai Aventador, that would have been an awesome addition, but no luck.

Re: Police muscle car kits
The Lotus Evora was a nice looking car Paolo, decals would be quite easy to make. But is there a kit to use as base?
The Mustang looks great as well but decals could be an issue.

Re: Police muscle car kits
Ah, ok!But I'm looking for scale model kits to build myself. A bit more challenge to it than collecting die casts.

Re: Police muscle car kits
I know. Problem is those super exotics are not available in Modelling kit scale. Already the gallardo polizia is stuff from nearly 10 yrs ago.
Only ones should be really Dubai polisen ones...

Re: Police muscle car kits
also can be interesting (and much more modelling stimulative..) to make some cars taken by police to smugglers. There are platoons of those cars in the south of italy, usually stolen in the rich north, heavily armed and modified in south and used like contender vehicles together with stolen trucks full of...cigarettes ! (stricly no drugs..JUST cigarettes..)
When police is lucky to stop theme (mostly for mechanical failures, cause police has no weapons to stop theme, and in the past they seriously consider to use the italian Apache helicopter to shoot at them..) they re use for street pursiuit. Not a movie, not a legend, nearly mad max..just chronical from south europe.., and fashinating ugly monsters..

Re: Police muscle car kits
Fujimi and Aoshima did decal sets for East and West Japan police departments, both also have accessory sets that included light bars, decals, etc. For the Tochigi Prefecture Mustang go with the Otaki/Arii Mustang.

Lol I feel responsible for this now but really how to resist? They are so cheap and so lovely welldone. Our Modelling is of course another thing, but those toys are anyway really cool...

Thanks! Are the decals/accessories to be found on Ebay occasionally?
