Re: What Did You Do With Your Vehicle Today?

I do like these threads but it's really in the wrong place. I'll move it to the Off Topic section of the racing forum.

To be OT:

Escape: Detailed the inside. I love those Magic Erasers.

Stealth: Removed the stock dash speakers to sell them.

GTC: I'm about to polish the reverse lights and fix the rear quarter trim.

Parts LeBaron: I crushed it.

Death To The LeBaron!!!

Busy day! I spent all day cleaning my SL's motor, interior, etc to a perfect finish so that I can finally sell it. I then changed the SL's oil so that it will be nice and clean come time for the sale.

For the VR-4, I changed the oil and cleaned it pretty well but not quite to the extent I did the SL.

Yeah, just wait until I get started on the parts I have sitting in the workroom for the GTC. That will be super freaking busy. You reminded me though. I need to get some Redline to change the oil in both cars.

Goodbye and good riddance Royal Purple.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Vehicle Today?

Got my alignment done and found out some interesting news about my car. Good and bad.

Good news: The funny noise isn't the $1500 differential.

Bad news: It's a pinon gear in the $950 steering rack.

I also looked at some more trucks.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Vehicle Today?

Took my truck down to the river and parked it. From there took a small boat ride to a floating dock and had a few cervezas with some of the fellas...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Vehicle Today?

Stealth: Removed the old HU, disconnected that annoying speaker that makes your eardrums bleed when the door is open and the key is in, and replaced the battery terminals. No more looking like a tool bag popping the hood to put the positive terminal back on. I also bought a ton of Redline oil to do the engine, trans, t-case, and gearbox.

GTC: Bought carpet and floor mats.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Vehicle Today?

i washed and clayed the car, and washed it again. put a coat of wax on it and will scratch remove everything polish and wax it tomorrow.

cleaning it up as much as possible and trying to sell all my aftermarket parts for it and revert back to stock. rust is taking over both rocker panels and if its not taken care of before this winter, lets just say i will prob have a hole behind my rear driver side door.

currently looking for a 7th gen celica with the 8400 rev limit without rust. insurance should be cheaper than an rsx or teg, and wont have to worry about it being gone in the morning.
