Another highlight of the Monterey weekend will be a talk with Gordon Murray scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 4:30pm:

F1 from Brabham to McLaren, The Genius of Gordon Murray

In 1969 Gordon joined the Brabham Formula One Team as Technical Director winning two world championships during his years with the team. Gordon later joined McLaren Racing as Technical Director and three consecutive championship wins followed. In 1990 he helped to establish McLaren Cars Ltd. The Company’s first project, the F1 Road Car is still regarded as one of the world’s best engineered cars. Gordon left the McLaren Group to establish, Gordon Murray Design in 2005.

Will get myself down to the City at some point to see this.

I'm working with a busy couple of weeks before I head overseas for vacation but I'll be making the trek from Baltimore to NYC to see this beauty.
