Re: Location of GTR's - Index

I was flipping through one of my dads magazines today and i saw an article about 'Cars International Kensington', there was a very small photo of what looked like a car storage room, and underneath a car lift was a Papaya Orange longtail GTR with a plate that read 'CIA 4' i assume it is #27R, the magazine is dated April 2007 so it might have been moved by now. The photo was much to small to be worth scanning and i could barely read the plate. Just to clear things up, from some sources i have heard that the car is owned by james munroe a european accountant (specifficaly 'the cars the star part 4' YouTube) does he still own it, what are its whearabouts???

Good find, and great pics!! I wonder why they didn't use Mason's F40 (F40NPG) in the article?

James Munroe did own the car, but due to being a crook (aka pilfering accountant) he shouldn't really have owned it (). Countachal and myself went to the opening night of the Showroom back in Jan07 and took some photos of the car that can be found in this thread.

It hasn't been seen for a while though, but it may be in their Workshop / Garage down the M4

If you look to the rear of the GTR, there is also an F1 engine on display.

Nope that was in Paris Motorshow.
FYI a second Bigazzi car (this of Laffite LM 96) was on display in another all the same year.

At long last. A follow up story, from earlier this year on www.sportscarpros.com by Lizett Bond.

Women know how to keep us men waiting, but we shall forgive her (I,ve allways got a soft spot for an attractive women) .

Lizett,s full story here, http://www.sportscarpros.com/across-...gs/default.htm

Nice to read that she likes a good English pub.

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

I was just loading all the pics up on Imagevenue - good work Martin, beat me to it !

It's always good to see GTR's on UK roads but on the A31, In my neck of the woods !!

Wonder why there was a gratuitious shot of #061 there too? Just to show she has gotten up close and personal to 3 F1's? lucky lady....

That's pretty funny - I just sent an email two days ago asking when we might see the content. I didn't get a reply, but this works too.

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

#07R could be in Hampshire, UK, as this pic was taken by a guy based in Basingstoke through the course of his work
