Help with my nissan

[NX2000]

Does anyone know of any company that makes clear tail lights for a 92 Nissan NX2000? I was also wondering were the best place to find aftermarket parts for an NX would be. I have noticed not too many companies carry parts for them. The NX is a kinda rare car. They were only in production for like 3 years. Please help me if you can.

I think the only place that used to make clears, was nis nacks. But I think they were discontinued. For parts, you could check www.se-r.net in their classifieds. Another good forum is www.sr20deforum.com We have a very large NX community over there.

Just out of curiousity, what exactly was the NX2000. Because i've seen one around town and also a little nissan hatchback thing that i think was a NX1600, or at least a something 1600. I'm guessing the NX2000 is a 2.0 litre, most likely the sr20de or maybe det. Using the same reasoning i'd guess the 1600 thing i saw was a 1.6 litre. But i don't recall and 1.6 litre nissan engines. What pray tell are these cars?

In answer to your question the NX2000 is basically the same car as the NX1600 except for the engine. As you said the NX2000 contains the 2.0 litre SE-R same as the classic sentras. The NX1600 contains the 1.6 which is basically a toned down version of the NX2000. I love my car it is nice and pretty quick too but finding aftermarket parts is a bitch. Sometimes when I go to an auto parts store they just look at me and say "NX what?" It kinda cool having the only one that i know of in my area but like i said a bitch finding parts for.

The NX1600 and NX2000 are basically the third generation Pulsar NX. The Pulsar, in a nutshell, is a "Sentra Sport." My '88 Pulsar NX, for instance, has the exact chassis, engine, and transmission (except for the final drive) as a B12 Sentra. Your car is essentially a B13 Sentra with a different body. So, anything mechanical that'll fit the Sentra will fit your car (there may be a few exceptions to this rule). However, the body is unique, so if you really want clear tails, you may have to have them fabricated. Anyways, the NX2000 does have the SR20DE - same as the Sentra SE-R, and the NX1600 has a GA16DE - same as the regular Sentra. Hope this helps.
