73rd Goodwood Members Meeting - March 21st and 22nd 2015

Well worth the 500 mile round trip today. After following McLaren for 20 years,i was treated to 16 Gtr's. Fantastic.
Highlights were speaking to Mr Lanzante, seeing Derek Bell next to Harrods car & meeting the owner of 16r,who let me have a sit inside! What a nice guy.
The demo laps were great,apart from the nervous spins,that could have done a lot of damage.
Thanks again Greg for meeting up. I met Sami,but my accent may have been a bit much for him.
Well done Lord March for getting together this great gathering.
Enjoy tomorrow guys,hope that cold wind goes away

Yes I had luck too with the #16R and later on with #01R.
Cold test dive behind the streering wheels.

If anyone s interested I have the very thin aluminium front badges from #04R and #06R slightly battered and wavy from being round several racing circuits and then prised off prior to restoration but willing to part with them if anyone wants to make an offer

The cars were fantastic, but the highlight, as always, is catching up with old friends [MSO, Andy74b, all those within Lanzantes, Le Man & his partner in crime, Arjan,Patrick, LARK60, tak43,] and meeting new ones [the owner of #16R and the owner of #19R, Cabrio92, Sami and more].

It was a great weekend!
