2011 Scion tC Customization

Hi everyone, this is my first post to autoforums.com. I've been looking for affordable (free) customization options to improve the overall look of my scion and have come up with three ideas to try to make it look more appealing.

a.) Get my fenders rolled (DIY) or get them done professionally, then lower it.

b.) just get coilovers and leave it there (BORING)

This last idea is crazy, I know, but I've never seen it done and I think that there could be an audience for it.

c.) purposefully gap my fenders to increase width... I know right? crazy. But think about it for one second with me. A consistent gap between the front fenders and bumper, as well as the rear bumpers and quarter panel. Thinking about 1/8-1/4 inch spacers between the main fastening components? Has anyone ever seen this done tastefully?

If anyone has any information about fender gapping for tasteful applications let me know because I'm going to attempt to do it. If anyone has any tips or questions about how I go about it feel free to reach out. I will be working all this week to see if I can do this. If it doesn't work the way I thought it would I will just take the spacers out and return it to it's normal setup.

But for right now the plan is just to go to home depot and get some 1/8 inch spacers such as washers and see if I can space out the fenders. Between the gaps (if it works) I will find some material to fit behind the gaps to reduce wind noise and unneeded sound, as well as to not see the inside of the fenders (will probably use black material to increase the definition of the gaps. Will post pictures to this thread later this week to update everyone!
