Cool Over 300,000

I have a 90 Accord LX with 304,000. Everything works but the driver’s side shoulder belt. Still blows cold air with the R-12 system that was recharged 5 years ago. The rear fenders had some rust, (Kansas salt) and I repaired one last weekend and am doing the other side now. ALLWAYS had regular scheduled maintenance, timing belt, oil change, etc. Just did a tune up and adjusted valves, runs great and still has plenty of power, just need to do the 3rd timing belt for the 300,000. Factory paint numbers still matched pretty well on rust repair, to bad It was totaled 6 years ago for hail damage. I have had such good luck with this car I am experimenting with some paint less dent removal and may re-paint this summer.

the miles appears on the speedometer, i assumed that it is showing you your recently traveled milage, but the total miles should be under the odometer, okay, let me put it in a simplier way.

the meter that has the white number, that's for your traveling milage, but the total milage for the car, I think you could figure it out.

Re: How many thousand miles are you at?

I got something like 270k on my 91 accord. Havent had to change the oil, or put in any gas since the day I bought it. Actually not really but it pisses my father off to no extent that his brand new 2004 Ford Expidition costs 60$ a week to fill, while my accord costs $20 every other week.

Re: How many thousand miles are you at?

130,000 and runnin strong on my '94

Some technicians I kno at the dealership say they've seen an accord with over 500,000, really rare though. They said that the one they see is completely stock, just normal maintenance and a couple clutches...

My mileage

2000 Honda Accord - 85,000 kms, and still runs like new.

I created a new thread, but I thought maybe someone here could help me with my milage question, so I have included my original post.

__________________________________________________ ____________________

My 2000 Honda Accord was stolen 2 days ago and it was recovered (this morning). The trouble - The gauge cluster was smashed and I have no insurance to cover the damage to the steering column and cluster.

Fortunately, there is no other damage.

My question:

Can I get another gauge cluster from the automobile recylcler and have it show the same mileage that should be on my car, or do I have to get one and get it reprogrammed? Any advice here would be great. I have found a guy to do the work on the column, so all that I have to worry about is the cluster.

Thanks.

Faz

Just bought a 90 accord this week.
It hit 142K yesterday.
And I am hoping it goes a lot more. Does need a little work, which I hope I can do myself.
