Need C70 Keyless Entry programming
So I locked my car with the keys IN the ignition. After hours and hours of doing the coathanger, I decided to look into spare keys. Turns out I have to get spares directly from the dealer and it costs $250!!! OUCH! So a second Key FOB will do. Anyone know how to program it?

Re: Need C70 Keyless Entry programming
What year? Most later models require dealer programming.

Uh oh
It's a 2000. I have a feeling you're going to say I have to go to a dealer. I just spent $465 for my 30,000 mile maintenance. Waaa!

Re: Need C70 Keyless Entry programming
Try to check Ebay..they have your model key fob for between 25 and 100 bucks. I found out the stealership gets like $125 to program them. I have a buddy who works for VW and he says it takes like 2 minutes to do...damn stealerships. Dave
