Upper Midwest 3/S Gathering -- May 21-23, 2010 -- Wisconsin Dells

Planning for the 2010 Upper Midwest 3/S Gathering is underway. This year's event will by May 21-23rd in sunny Wisconsin Dells. Last year we set a new record with 54 3/Ses and 65 owners. It was a great turnout. We had a cruise last year with 55 vehicles that stretched 2 miles long through the Wisconsin country side. It was amazing!

Plans are coming along nicely for the 2010 Upper Midwest Gathering. We have 29 people signed up so far. The current list is at:

A lot of people have made their hotel reservations, which is great. I know the cabins are all taken. So if you have a favorite room, you may want to book sooner as opposed to later.

For the Saturday afternoon boat cruise, we'll probably do the Lower Dells. Its been four years since with did that one. And on Sunday we'll be doing the original rural cruise that includes the hillside pictures.

Hey everyone,

Things are coming along well for the UMG. I've updated the sign up list. We have 53 signed up so far.

I know we have a lot of rooms booked at Baker's Sunset Bay Resort. I think we have somewhere between 25-30 rooms. You should really book your room soon. Otherwise you could get stuck with one of the higher priced rooms.

I'm still working on finalizing the schedule. Need to find a good buffet place on Sunday since Danny's Diner is now closed. Hopefully this week I'll get to finalizing the schedule.

Looks like we have over 30 rooms booked at Baker's Sunset Bay resort. If you haven't gotten your room booked, you should really do it now!

I've got the schedule finalized for the UMG. Here it is:

FRIDAY, MAY 21ST
- 3 to 5pm -- Meet up at Baker's Sunset Bay Resort
- 5 to 7pm -- Dinner at Monk's at the Wilderness
- 8:30-10pm -- Hanging out at hotel or making a Culver's ice cream run

SATURDAY, MAY 22ND
- 8 to 9am -- Meet up at the hotel
- 9:15-Noon -- Attending the Automotion car show at Noah's Ark
- 12:15-2pm -- Lunch at Pizza Pub
- 2-3:30pm -- Boat tour on the Lower Dells
- 4-6pm -- Go-karts at Extreme World
- 6:30-10pm -- Cookout at the hotel

SUNDAY, MAY 23RD
- 9:30-10:30am -- Meet up at the hotel
- 10:30-1:30pm -- Drive the rural cruise outside of the Dells on some hilly and twisty roads
- 1:30pm - 3pm -- Lunch at Buffalo Phil's

Hey everyone,

We are in the final stretch for the UMG. Its starts this Friday. Our sign up list is up to 71 people. So start getting your things in order and get ready for a fun weekend in Wisconsin Dells.

Here are a few reminders about things to bring:

1) Bring an FRS radio if you have one. We'll be using them on the rural cruise and other stuff.
2) Bring sunscreen if you burn easily.
3) Bring a lawn chair or two for the Saturday night cookout.
